its ancient right
to crush street lights

beach magnet
the sweet face removes
her white towel

oh!these hometown blues
when red leaves
become brown litter

grandma’s illness
her falling
unfit glasses

the assassin
of fresh waters
an old Pike

old Pike
in river vicious kills
of its own kind

whitening away
all morning, but wait
the fog lifts!
