colours of dawn
all at once
the echo of songs

her songs–
to start the day
the magpie’s cracked egg

solitary faces
along the river–
I row into the sun

dolphins dot
the sunset waves
across our boat

visible
through the midday rain
tulips bending

she soars–
in the air of mountains
the eagle… cries

lily pads
lifted by the wind
lifted by the skirts

birthday balloon
she could not know
it escapes

seagulls
light as the air
I breathe too

bats
seeing sound
in the cave
