the storm flees…
the moon puddles
at cloud speed

babbling brook
a dragonfly clicks wings
over the lichen rocks

without a wind
the deer turns startled
at what cracked the twig!

turning the yard
the future they must
the new seeds

Stone mason
in his thousand chips
the beginning of names.

alone in cabin fever
the snow melts and melts…
out of the cabin, still alone

a canoe rows
the moon river
tide keeps moving

adding her screams
screamed before her–
the ghost train

long dangling
threads of sun dew…
then the spider’s face

showing the breaths
shown by the frost
a jog through the park
