the calf’s mother.

Whale watch
tourists taking a spray
from the mother’s calf.

Dunes
hurling sand
into the sea’s storm.

Aegean moon
our cruise ship following
with party lights.

Combed by the wind
three little girls
at the ship’s prow.

Antarctic cruise
coming bright brighter brightest
the polished stars.
